The idea of a self-built "PIRAT" sailing dinghi goes back into 1992. At this time I started to enter the construction drawings into a CAD system. As time went by, I created a library containing
hull,
frames,
formers,
cutting plans,
etc.
But allthough the idea of doing it all by myself was present at all times, I was kept away from getting started by the circumstances ("it's just madness", "how about the time and costs").
